Trans-Atlantic-Training (TAT) is a series of annual workshops and training courses in Earth Observation (EO), organized since 2013 by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the European Space Agency (ESA) and Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.

Goals and objectives
The main objective of TAT is to organize training activities for students and the early-career scientists in the area of Earth Observation (EO), with an emphasis on remote sensing of land-cover changes and ecosystem dynamics. The purpose of TAT is to share and discuss advanced research methods and technologies from space, during a series of meetings for scientists and students from both Europe and the USA.
Topic of TAT 2021 (TAT-8): State-of-the-art advanced methods of Earth observation (Optical & SAR) shall be presented and discussed by leading experts from Europe and the USA. Technologies, tutorials and data from ESA and NASA missions shall be presented and practically exercised within hands-on training. The main focus of TAT 2021 is on cloud-processing of EO data.
